The Jersey Says it All

True, hard core fans of football usually have some kind of memento that lets everyone know who their favorite football team or player is. These mementos come in many different forms, which include flags, hats, and the most popular of them all the football jersey. No matter where you live, or where you go, fans all around the world love to show their support by wearing these awesome shirts.

There are two types of shirts you can buy. The first and cheaper of the two is a replica. These are not only cheaper in price but are made a lot cheaper also. The other type of shirt you can buy is an authentic football jersey. These shirts are much more expensive. However they are made with a better quality of material, and are exactly the same as the jerseys that the players wear. Some people say that true fans will only wear an authentic jersey, but this is not true. There are many true and hard core fans of football who just can not afford the price of the authentic jersey.

Depending on where you live, you will most likely mainly see only one team's jerseys being worn. This is especially true in the cities where the individual teams call their home. However, in smaller areas you are probably going to see a wide range of different jerseys being worn.

Fans tend to be extremely faithful to their teams, no matter what kind of year they are having. For instance, take the Arizona Cardinals. Two years ago they were by far the worst team in the league. Yet, fans still flocked week after week to watch their games. Then last year, the Cardinals were doing great. So, great thing is that they made it to the Super Bowl. Retailers all over the Phoenix area were selling out of their football jerseys for the Cardinals faster than they could get them in. In fact, even though they lost the game, sales have remained steady for Cardinals jerseys. This is because fans have stayed loyal and true to the Cardinals, and they expect the team to go all the way again this year, and bring home the trophy.

Another team who has maintained sales on their jerseys is the Chicago Bears. This team has had more than its fair share of ups and downs in the last thirty years, yet fans remain loyal. Football jerseys for this team can be seen worn in every major city in the United States.

No matter what city you live in, or even visit, it is very apparent that football jerseys are the most popular way to support your team. And the best part of all, is when a favorite player goes to another team, the jerseys from the previous team become collectible items. It is safe to say that jerseys will continue to be the fans most favorite item to display their loyalty. And even if prices are not reduced, it is safe to say that they will continue to sell well as this next season approaches.
