Facts You Should Know about Breast Lift Surgery

The Procedure

Breast lift procedures range from minimally traumatic to highly invasive. The procedure is performed in a sterile room under general anesthesia. In general, an inverted T or an anchor-shaped incision is made for a full breast lift - a circular cut around the areola and going down from the areola to the crease area. This incision allows the breast surgeon to remove excess fat, tissue and skin, elevate the breasts, and reduce the size of the areola. The incisions are stitched once the procedure is done and the patient will be placed in a tight surgical bra or bandage. In breast surgical terms, a breast lift is a relatively quick operation to perform.

The Post-Operative Precautions

The patient is advised to wear a special bra or a tight bandage immediately after the operation for a couple of days, depending on the instructions of the breast surgeon. After the bandage is removed, the patient will be fitted to a soft support bra, which she will have to wear at all times during recovery. The surgeon will prescribe some pain relievers for any pain or discomfort that the patient may experience post operation. Two weeks after the operation, the patient needs to meet with her surgeon to have the stitches removed and to have her healing evaluation.

The Rights of The Patient

While breast lift is a simple surgery, it is still a major operation and women who wish to go through it should consider only a highly skilled, certified surgeon to perform the operation. Many women in big cities like New York City assume that it is safe to just walk in at any random New York breast clinic for their procedures. They fail to do their research on both the clinic and the surgeons. The best thing to do is to contact the American Board of Plastic Surgery or your local hospital or clinic for referrals. Need help on my art work!!! HELP!?

No offence to chavs. My project is based on architecture and i am doing fashion and clothing, but the clothing will be american. I plan to have a t-shirt with dollars stitched on all over in different colours and then in the middle have the words- new york on in green but in gangster style. Then have buildings on the t-shirt to put in black and white, though colour drawn over the top of it and a yellow taxi, though in colour and black pen drawn over the top of it - outlining it. Then i plan to have a shirt over the top of the t-shirt. The shirt will be in black, the front will be plain except the top pocket where it will have a green dollar sign and the back will have the statue of liberty on it in colour.
