Ive been looking at colleges and universities to go to, and im really interested in CAU (Clark Atlanta University).Im into fashion design and I just wanted to know if their fashin design program is really good. Do they host events where you are able to show off your designs (fashion shows)? Do you have to know how to sew to get into this program? How about porfolios?

Well if you want to do the HBCU route i'd say nothing holds a flame to Howard when it comes to a fashion curriculum. But I recommend Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, or SUNY Buffalo State College in Buffalo NY which also has a excellent fashion program on a more traditional campus setting ( plus the school is very diverse with the highest african american population in a no CUNY college in NY), im guessing you live in the south but for fashion you gotta go North or West Babayy! lol hope I helped
