Increase your Profits by Promoting Safety

It's always great to promote safety, and why not boost your business at the same time? National Window Covering Safety Month is a wonderful "excuse" to do just that.

The Window Covering Safety Council's promotion is designed to increase consumer awareness of cord safety concerns. It is a nationwide campaign that urges parents with young children to repair or replace pre-2001 corded blinds, shades, and draperies with today's safer products. Join the crusade!

And you can promote so much more than window coverings during Safety Month. Here are a few promotional ideas to try this month...

* Send a special "Decorating Safety" email to your clients and prospects. Encourage them to review and follow your safety tips on cribs, windows, bedding, rugs, etc. They'll probably realize they need your help and invite you over for a consultation.

* Add the "KIDS, CORDS, CAUTION" slogan to your promotional materials this month

* Mail a "Safety Tips" postcard to clients

Madden 10 Franchise mode question?

I play as the Buffalo Bills in franchise mode, and I've made a lot of changes to the roster. I don't know what playbooks to use, so I'll give a general description of how I play and my roster.
Offense:
QB: Not a real player: 87 ovr, 1 yr exp.
HB: Marshawn Lynch: 90 ovr
Excellent O-line (around 88-89 ovr average
TE: Shaun Nelson and Brandon Pettigrew: 84 and 91 ovr
WR: Hakeem Nicks and fake drafted player: 87 and 84 ovr
FB: Tony Fiametta: 85 ovr
I usually just have two wr's and pass to both TE's a lot. Like to run with a lead blocker in the backfield

Defense: A 4-3 with a very good D-line and excellent linebackers. Very good, but not amazing CB's, good safety's. I want to blitz with my linebackers almost all the time.

Some of the key principles are blitzes out of various fronts, using your best blitzer, creating mismatches with your personnel and the scheme, and disguising the blitz. The disguise will make your blitz look like zone. Ultimately, you want your best coverage match-ups, allowing for your best players matched with your opponents best. Because Coach Hankwitz's scheme includes 25 percent zone blitz, the man blitz is an excellent compliment to their overall defensive attack. Complimented with video clips, a total of 18 different blitz looks are broken down. Each element of the blitz is unique yet effective in the overall defensive scheme.
