What size RBK edge socks would be the best?

I was wondering if someone could answer a question for me on the RBK Edge Socks. I’m 5’6” and from the bottom of my foot to my crotch area is 30” as is the adult sock. 24”, the youth size, would come up to my thigh area. Does anyone use these socks and have a height similar to mine? Some people are saying the socks stretch, would me being 5'6 and a youth sock stretch enough or should I go with the adult? I don't really want a TON of extra material if the adult socks were too large. Which would you recommend? I don't live anywhere close to someone who supplies these socks, that's why I'm asking here.
