I remember when I bought my boys an electric football game and I was really excited to play it with them. Unfortunately , for a generation raised on video games, electric football was a little slow for them. In other words they were bored to tears by the little players buzzing around the board and then locking arms and going in circles forever. I also liked Sizzlers cars alot. That also is a bit boring for the video game generation. Well toys have gotten a lot better since then. For Instance Matchbox Rocky the Robot .

 Rocky the Robot is definitely the "toy to get" for boys this Christmas. Okay, I admit it. I will play with it also. Rocky the Robot Truck is both a classic dump truck and an interactive toy that talks , sings ,and dances! It is amazing what toys can do these days. I grew up in the age of board games and hot wheels. And a really special gift was a sizzlers racetrack or electric football. And that's what makes Rocky the talking truck so great. It has the charm of an old Tonka dump truck, but it has all the bells and whistles of a modern toy. 

 I heartily recommend getting a Rocky the Robot Truck this holiday season. If you really want to go old school and go with toy trucks and board games , I would recommend the Quirkle Board Game. Its a fun board game that's a cross between Dominoes and Scrabble. Its pretty easy to learn also.

Yes, they're fuel efficient but I think these new little cars they're coming out with are dangerous. How could you survive say someone hits you in one of these little matchboxes...and im sure some bigger trucks, suv's will not even see them in their lane.
