How is traffic on the 605 N from LONG BEACH to CYPRESS in the mornings?
I am planning to attend Cypress College and am commuting from LONG BEACH to Cypress.... I will have school in the mornings (8 am) and am concerned with traffic during that time. Can anyone let me know how bad it might be?
Actually, I'll be on the 405 S a bit more than the 605 N.... how long do you think it'll take me to get there?
The south bound 405 won't be too bad, you'll be going in the opposite direction of the bulk of the traffic. Making the transition to the north bound 605 will be a different story This will become a bottleneck. Leave a little early one day and try it.
As an alternative try exiting at Bellflower Blvd north transitioning to Los Coyotes Diagonal going northeast then turn right on Carson Street/Lincoln Ave to Cypress College. These surface streets move relatively quickly in the morning.
