For more replica watches, please visit http://www.idolreplicas.com/
In 2004, Audemars Piguet announced its theme for the year: Femmes du Monde(French, means women of the world). Now let us have a review of it and enjoy the soul of ladies’ watches.
To pay a tribute to the everlasting ladies, Audemars Piguet specially launched four ladies’ jewelry wristwatch series: Deva?Lady Royal Oak? Facettes and Dream?making ladies more charming, exquisite, this is what Femmes du Monde offers for the elegant ladies from all over the world.
Deva: featuring the elegance in simplicity
Among these jewelry series, Deva is the first gift to the global ladies. Deva means the bright goddness in the sky. The design inspiration from flowers and curves are well displayed by the elegant and ingenious square watch case, the soft styling and beautiful diamond or natural bijous. Deva series based on traditional squareness, mixed with soft curves, the square back and sapphire crystal watch face are a little arcual, like a rare and ingenious pillow matching with different combinations of precious diamond or bijous. Of each side of watch dial, there is round watch rod with diamonds and semi-round sapphire. Regardless of matching rubber or steel strap, it looks exquisite and absolutely elegant.
Deva, which is specially designed for ladies, owns a dial made of white pearl sea shell, serving as a foil to the elegance of 18K gold or white gold. Markers of 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock, 9 o’clock are diamonds or sapphire, and the 12 o’clock are displayed with the letters of “AP”. As for the edition with full-diamond set, it looks more elegant and noble. Dial with full-diamond set matching 18K white gold steel bezel and watch rod with full crystal and diamond set, showing the top work of Deva series.
Lady Royal Oak?Featuring the special characters and power of ladies
The new Lady Royal Oak follows the original typical design of Royal Oak series: octagon bezel, in the spirit of symbolizing character and power, injecting brightness and female design, endowing Lady Royal Oak a brand new style. The distinctive feature of Lady Royal Oak is that the diameter of the case increased to 33 mm and the original complanate octagon bezel and the sapphire crystal mirror are modified as round bezel and mirror. The bezel is with or without diamond. The dial is with stripped silky shape matching with shuttled markers or natural white pearl sea shell matching with 11 pieces of diamond markers. The watch head is made of 18 K gold and with semi-round and transparent sapphire of 0.42 CT sapphire.
Ladies with AP are absolutely elegant and beautiful, therefore, new Lady Royal Oak has to own this feature, and it needs to show the elegance in the details of its semblance. As far as the case concerned, Lady Royal Oak has a mirror which is more complicated and exquisite and manual polish, both octagon bezel and case have three layers stripped polish, since these polishes are so complicated, so they have to be finished by manual but not machine. Lady Royal Oak shows the charming and special characters of ladies. Case with a bigger size, round dial and bezel matching with steel or rubber strap, stating a distinctive style.
Dream: round, ingenious and transcendent
Another Dream series, just like gorgeous satin, matching with white K gold setting diamond off and emitting special bright, showing the absolute charming ladies’ design, resplendent and florid. Inscrutable circular curve shape, round, refined and transcendent, with exquisite diamond setting art. Just a glance at that, you will find that Dream is absolutely a dream wristwatch for ladies. With new and soft styling, the Dream series not only interprets the extreme elegance of lady jewelry wristwatch, but also pursue a perfect and comfortable feeling when wearing on wrist. The circular curve shape case is elegant and with a good style, softly touching the skin on the wrist. Satin strap or K gold set steel strap even more adds a sexy feeling to Dream, even if skinniest wrist can wear it.
18 K white gold rectangle case, soft styling, with either side extending circular and wide border and theme pattern like flowers, just like two flower baskets full of diamonds, giving us an unprecedented feeling of dial. especially in the editions with full-diamond set, neat diamond setting makes the diamond just like dancing on the case. Dream with pearl shell dial, having blue and snow white color. Diamond set markers and leaf shape and hollow out minute hand dial. As for the strap, Dream uses satin. And the editions with full-diamond set matches with 18K white gold polished steel strap with rhodium coating.
Facettes: pure styling with exquisite diamond set technology
As for Facettes, it is just like lady wrist watch series Promesse of Audemars Piguet, focusing on displaying the good taste and nice character. Facettes uses natural sapphire and colorful changes and different setting technology, showing us a bright and colorful watch picture. Facettes wristwatch purely focuses on simple and straight styling, interpreting its facettes design just like its name, rectangle case matching with oblique edge bezel, setting the sapphire mirror off, showing a straight line just like a ridge, in consistent with protuberance of satin strap. As far as the integrated design of the watch is concerned , edges are compatible, faces match well, exquisite and fabulous.

What does Beyonce eat to maintain her "single ladies" body?
Do not say photoshop.
I need answers that are true to what she actually eats
Does she eat cheese? What is her main source that keeps her curvy?
Beyonce's shape probably has more to do with her line of work than what she eats. If you dance enough, you can't really get too fat.
As for the curves themselves, they are probably genetic. Fodd doesn't sculpt you, it just changes your overall size/fatness.
Only genetics and work/plastic surgery can actually change the shape.

Ahead of Her Time in Yesteryear $31.95 Born into a relatively privileged family, Geraldyne Pierce Zimmerman earned a reputation as a maverick in her life-long home of Orangeburg, South Carolina, a semi-rural community where race and class were very much governed by the Jim Crow laws. Educated at Nashville’s Fisk University, Zimmerman returned to Orangeburg to teach school, serve her community, and champion equal rights for African Americans and women. She was a woman far ahead of her time. Kibibi V. Mack-Shelton offers a vivid portrayal of the kind of black family seldom recognized for its role in the development of the African American community after the Civil War. At a time when “separate-but-equal” usually meant suffering and injustice for the black community, South Carolina families such as the Tatnalls, Pierces, and Zimmermans achieved a level of financial and social success rivaling that of many white families. Drawing heavily on the oral accounts of Geraldyne Pierce Zimmerman, Mack-Shelton draws the reader into the lives of the African American elite of the early twentieth century. Her captivating narrative style brings to life many complicated topics: how skin color affected interracial interactions and class distinctions within the black community itself, the role of education for women and for African Americans in general, and the ways in which cultural ideas about family and community are simultaneously preserved and transformed over the span of generations. Refreshing and engaging, Ahead of Her Time in Yesteryear is an important contribution to African American and women’s studies, as well as a fascinating biography for any reader interested in a new perspective on small town black culture in the Jim Crow South. Kibibi V. Mack-Shelton held the former Tyler and Alice Haynes Endowed Chair of American Studies at the University of Richmond. She currently teaches at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is author and editor of numerous scholarly publications, including Parlor Ladies and Ebony Drudges: African American Women, Class, and Work in a South Carolina Community and History And Women, Culture And Faith: Selected Writings Of Elizabeth Fox-Genovese, Volume 2. |

The Ladies Gallery $14.95 A shred of black lace. A broken hand mirror. A spidery strip of false eyelash. These are the fragments left to Irene Vilar, granddaughter of Lolita Lebrón, the revered political activist for Puerto Rican independence who in 1954 sprayed the U.S. House of Representatives with gunfire, wounding several congressmen, and served twenty-seven years in prison. In The Ladies' Gallery , Vilar revisits the legacy of her grandmother and that of her anguished mother, who leaped to her death from a speeding car when Vilar was eight. Eleven years after her mother's death, Vilar awakens in a psychiatric hospital after her own suicide attempt and begins to face the devastating inheritance of abandonment and suicide passed down from her grandmother and mother. The familial pattern of self-destruction flings open the doors to her national inheritance and the search for identity. Alternating between Vilar's notes from the ward and the unraveling of her family's secrets, this lyrical and powerful memoir of three generations of Puerto Rican women is urgent, impassioned, and unforgettable. From the Trade Paperback edition. |

The Tiger Ladies $4.74 The first memoir about a woman's experience in Kashmir, one of the most volatile and alluring places on the globe This is a magical memoir of a land now consumed by political and religious turmoil, a richly detailed story of a girl's passage into maturity, marriage, and motherhood in the midst of an exquisite and fragile world that will never be entirely the same. "For those who only associate Kashmir with the violence that has claimed tens of thousands of lives, Koul's lovely, elegiac memoir The Tiger Ladies shows that the isolated vale in the Himalayas was a heaven before it became a hell." --Bryan Walsh, Time ASIA "This magical, sensuous memoir . . . casts its quiet spell over the reader. The writing is so evocative that you feel you are there, seeing, tasting, touching, and smelling this once enchanted place." --Scotia W. MacCrae, Philadelphia Inquirer "The Tiger Ladies is immensely, gracefully sad, an elegy for the customs and the courtliness of an irrecoverable civilization. Yet there is a sensuality running through her story . . . provided by Ms. Koul's devotion to Kashmiri cuisine and her description of how she has, through her kitchen, sought to keep alive the old Kashmiri ways." --Tunku Varadarajan, The Wall Street Journal Sudha Koul is author of Curries without Worries and Come with Me to India: On a Wondrous Voyage through Time. She lives in New Jersey with her family. |

First Ladies $16 Betty Boyd Caroli's engrossing and informative First Ladies is both a captivating read and an essential resource for anyone interested in the role of America's First Ladies. This expanded and updated fourth edition includes Laura Bush's tenure, Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential bid, and an in-depth look at Michelle Obama, one of the most charismatic and appealing First Ladies in recent history. Covering all forty-one women from Martha Washington to Michelle Obama and including the daughters, daughters-in-law, and sisters of presidents who sometimes served as First Ladies, Caroli explores each woman's background, marriage, and accomplishments and failures in office. This remarkably diverse lot included Abigail Adams, whose "remember the ladies" became a twentieth-century feminist refrain; Jane Pierce, who prayed her husband would lose the election; Helen Taft, who insisted on living in the White House, although her husband would have preferred a judgeship; Eleanor Roosevelt, who epitomized the politically involved First Lady; and Pat Nixon, who perfected what some have called "the robot image." They ranged in age from early 20s to late 60s; some received superb educations for their time, while others had little or no schooling. Including the courageous and adventurous, the emotionally unstable, the ambitious, and the reserved, these women often did not fit the traditional expectations of a presidential helpmate. Here then is an engaging portrait of how each First Lady changed the role and how the role changed in response to American culture. These women left remarkably complete records, and their stories offer us a window through which to view not only this particular sorority of women, but also American women in general. "Impressive...Caroli's profiles and observations of American first ladies and their relationship to the media are intelligent and perceptive." --Philadelphia Inquirer |

Lady Vernon and Her Daughter $11.99 Jane Austen's novella Lady Susan was written during the same period as another novella called Elinor and Marianne –which was later revised and expanded to become Sense and Sensibility. Unfortunately for readers, Lady Susan did not enjoy the same treatment by its author and was left abandoned and forgotten by all but the most diligent Austen scholars. Until now. In Lady Vernon and Her Daughter, Jane Rubino and Caitlen Rubino-Bradway have taken Austen's original novella and transformed it into a vivid and richly developed novel of love lost and found–and the complex relationships between women, men, and money in Regency England. Lady Vernon and her daughter, Frederica, are left penniless and without a home after the death of Sir Frederick Vernon, Susan's husband. Frederick' s brother and heir, Charles Vernon, like so many others of his time, has forgotten his promises to look after the women, and despite their fervent hopes to the contrary, does nothing to financially support Lady Vernon and Frederica. When the ladies, left without another option, bravely arrive at Charles's home to confront him about his treatment of his family, they are faced with Charles's indifference, his wife Catherine's distrustful animosity, and a flood of rumors that threaten to undo them all. Will Lady Vernon and Frederica find love and happiness–and financial security– or will their hopes be dashed with their lost fortune? With wit and warmth reminiscent of Austen's greatest works, Lady Vernon and Her Daughter brings to vivid life a time and place where a woman's security is at the mercy of an entail, where love is hindered by misunderstanding, where marriage can never be entirely isolated from money, yet where romance somehow carries the day. From the Hardcover edition. |

It made perfect sense for him to move in so he could work days and nights. Ladies, I'm in over my head with the man upstairs, but can I tempt him to repair his heart and build a home for us ? |

Madame de Lafayette and Her Family $36.06 Madame De Lafayette And Her Family. CHAPTER I - In this day, when the white light of historical research has fallen on even the most obscure characters, bringing into prominence those details which, for the sake of bygone reputations, were better deep buried in the past of the oblivion, it is more than remarkable that the wife of that world-renowned man, the Marquis de Lafayette, should remain practically unknown. Had she been one of those fair, frail women, an extravagant mistress, whose slender fingers meddled in the skein of political intrigue, we should know her intimately merely from her connection with so famous a character. The most trivial de tails of her personality would be at our tongues endher preferred colour, the perfume which wafted from her silken skirts, and long ago me should have been possessed of that intimate knowledge which we have gleaned anent the various ladies of that epoch. Being his wife, the mother of his children, she is, to the present generation, hidden by the mists of indifferent obscurity. Remembering the Ladies $4.69 WHERE DID INSPIRATION FOR THIS BOOK COME FROM? During the period of the 2008 American presidential election, when the whole world was held spellbound, I overheard a group of British college students discussing their latest study project. They were required to write an essay comparing any modern American First Lady with one who had served within the first century of the presidency. They quickly discovered that the early First Ladies lived in a complex world and that their role in that era was difficult. Pulling the overwhelming jigsaw of facts together from internet research was proving to be laborious and wearisome. The students would have preferred one compilation of First Ladies stories from the 19th century, which could be discussed with each other and /or their tutor at anytime, anywhere. Enthusiasm for the project was dampened by an apparent dearth of such volumes and by the lack of time available to study long individual biographies. The idea for this compendium was born WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? In this 21st century, America's First Lady is as well known as her husband due to world-wide modern technology. In the 19th century, however, it was difficult for the public to even know who the president's wife was. Even today it is not easy to call to mind those pioneering First Ladies, many of whom were burdened with more than their fair share of misfortune and some almost forgotten This book provides an insight into the lives of the 19th century First Ladies, in an undemanding, easy-to-read style, and aims to raise awareness of the historical significance of these women. Their abridged stories, sometimes joyful, sometimes sad, range from slavery, bigamy, duels, royal snubs, European conflicts, American wars, assassinations and suffrage, and demonstrate how the Ladies might be seen as victims of history. The text includes a basic review of the restricted evolution of the First Lady role during the first hundred years. The aim is that the book will encourage foundational study in colleges and schools, and inspire anyone who is interested in presidential history to deeper levels of publications and study. WHO'S THE AUTHOR? The author is an English woman, married to a dental surgeon, both of whom fell in love with America when they first visited the country twenty-five years ago. She served as a Justice of the Peace in England for over twenty-five years, and also worked in the National Health Service for a number of years, serving on two Health Service boards as a non-executive director. She has written for various British regional magazines and newspapers; currently she is the editor of a bi-annual magazine for the Costa del Sol Decorative and Fine Arts Society in Spain. She and her husband divide their time between homes in England and Spain, and continue to visit America whenever they can (La Jolla in California is their favourite spot.) |

Still, ladies, it would be a shame to let this dark-haired hunk go to waste. There must be a woman out there—other than me, of course!—who'd appreciate Jake's chiseled physique...and mind-blowing bedroom skills. Just because the sight of the tall, tough P.I. holding a little baby melted my heart and brought out my maternal longings, didn't make him a candidate for husband number five...did it? |

The Ladies' Man $9.99 From the bestselling author of The Inn at Lake Devine ("Rivals her own best work for its understanding of the way smart, opinionated people stumble toward happiness"--Glamour) and Isabel's Bed ("It's Fannie Farmer for the soul . . . delivered in a delicious style that is both funny and elegant"--USA Today) comes a darkly romantic comedy of manners that confirms Elinor Lipman's appointment to the Jane Austen chair in modern American sensibility. Thirty unmarried years have passed since the barely suitable Harvey Nash failed to show up at a grand Boston hotel for his own engagement party. Today, the near-bride, Adele Dobbin, and her two sisters, Lois and Kathleen, blame Harvey for what unkind relatives call their spinsterhood, and what potential beaus might characterize as a leery, united front. The doorbell rings one cold April night. Harvey Nash, older, filled with regrets (sort of), more charming and arousable than ever, just in from the Coast, where he's reinvented himself as Nash Harvey, jingle composer and chronic bachelor, has returned to the scene of his first romantic crime. Despite the sisters' scars and grudges, despite his platinum tongue and roving eye, this old flame becomes an improbable catalyst for the untried and the long overdue. The refined and level-headed Adele finds herself flirting with her boss--on public television. Entrepreneurial Kathleen is suddenly drinking cappuccino with Lorenz, the handsome doorman at the luxury high-rise where she owns a lingerie boutique. And Lois, the only sister to have embarked on the road to matrimony and, subsequently, divorce, revives her long-cherished notion that Harvey abandoned Adele rather than indulge his preference for another Dobbin. Both comic and compassionate, The Ladies' Man has all of Lipman's trademark wit, wattage, and social mischief--with an extra bite. From the Hardcover edition. |

Ladies Of Letters Go Global $7.19 Patricia Routledge and Prunella Scales star in the popular Radio 4 series, Ladies of Letters. Patricia Routledge is Vera Smalls and Prunella Scales is her friend (or maybe enemy), Irene Spencer. The two pass their time in regular correspondance and not an event goes by that is left unrecorded by the ladies of letters. Always polite but not always nice, the two ladies' letters are often acerbic, one might even say bitchy yet their subtle put downs create wonderful letters full of humour and insight into the ups and downs of family life. |
