Stainless Steel LCD Enclosure For Food and Clean Room Digital Signage

Its usefulness is represented by the fact that signage systems using LCD or plasma screens are being implemented in many areas and in different extremes. They are found in many places in industry, amongst the dirt, grease and oil but they are often protected by LCD enclosures.

Stainless steel is the ideal medium for these type of areas as it can be washed down, disinfected, has natural anti-bacterial properties (it offers no crevices for bacteria to linger) and stainless steel is also non corrosive.

To ensure he enclosed device is adequately protected, LCD enclosures are often built to international rating standards. The most common are the European IP rating and the US NEMA standard.

For waterproof protection the NEMA 4 (and NEMA 4x) standard and the IP65 rating ensure that the enclosure will be able to withstand a wash down from powerful water jets with no worry about the water seeping into the enclosure and damaging the device.
