NFL: Are NFL Rookies being Way Overpaid?

For the last 5 years or so top 10 NFL draft Rookies have become filthy rich without even stepping onto the field yet. Jake Long recently signed a Mega Contract with a $30 Million Guranteed, and QB Matt Ryan of the Falcons signed a 6 year deal for $72 million, and $34 million guranteed. Its ridiculous because Matt Ryans probably sitting on the bench for at least his Rookie season (like Brady Quinn, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, etc.) so that means the Falcons are just giving him about $12 million his rookie year just to sit on the bench and "Study"...whatever that means. A lot of these high paid Rookies turned out to be Busts (Robert Gallery, Courtney Brown, Ryan Leaf, Reggie Bush so far). My personal opinion is that the NFL teams should sign the rookies to a Contract maximum of $15 million guranteed money, and the Teams should put up Incentive money, so that way the Rookies will get paid based on whether they what the team expects from them. Whats your take?

of course they are they arent proven and they get bigger contracts then many solid players. look how many great players come out of later rounds in the draft.
