Loft Insulation materials – How Risky and Functional Are They?

A home treated with loft insulation measures is vital for ensuring each property is energy efficient and environment friendly. Though, the method of laying insulation is a simple DIY job in which materials are laid between the rafters but the varying traits and unhealthy risks involved in those materials may indicate a hazardous affair to handle. Though all types of materials contribute to environment and property by cutting down energy use, heating bills and carbon dioxide emission, but some materials are most widely used. Some materials have drawbacks too despite their efficiency to insulate homes.

Here some insulation materials are explained. Some of these are synthetic materials like fibreglass, mineral wool while some materials are eco-friendly but less effective than synthetic materials. Fibreglass insulation materials are easily available in any local DIY stores. One plus side of such materials is that they are a very functional insulator. Some of the brands of fibreglass manufacturers mix recycled glass that makes fibreglass recyclable and reusable material. However, on the minus side, manufacturing process of this material consumes a lot of energy and often results in hazardous emission of chlorine, fluorides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's). It is not biodegradable and thus has risks of emitting harmful fumes after burnt. And it may cause irritation in contact with skin, throat and eyes. But in terms of durability and resistance towards rotting, fibreglass is a good insulating material, though its effectiveness may diminish with moisture entrance and compress.

Mineral wool is often identified as the name of a leading brand, ‘Rock Wool’ that produces this insulation material by mixing steel slag (75%) to basalt rock (25%). Mineral wools are recyclable and fireproof and are non-biodegradable. The mineral wool may also involve risks of irritation to skin, eye and throat while application. That’s why while laying mineral wool, installers must use goggles, glasses or dust mask, full sleeves and full pant garments to cover themselves fully.

The eco-friendly loft insulation materials recommended for insulating loft space are wool, recycled newsprint, flax and hemp. These materials are completely safe for environment due to biodegradability as well as for human installers causing no harm to skin, eye and throat.

How come white women treat black men better than black women do?

From my experience black women are alot of drama and loud and confrontational whereas white women act respectful and dont try to wear the pants in the relationship. Black women think they're too "strong and independent" to cater to their man whereas white women dont have that chip on their shoulders. Im not saying this goes for ALL white women just the ones Ive dated. It seems black women take us for granted.
