Football Uniform - the fundamentals

A quality soccer uniform makes a team look and feel great, is sturdy enough to survive even the hardest playing conditions, and creates group comradeship. It should be comfy to wear and be able to absorb sweat, helping regulate a player's body temperature. Soccer uniforms can be customised for team individuality, or a team can order and wear copies of their favourite pro football players' uniforms.

Soccer is a way to get youngsters active and teach them about teamwork and co-operative play. Here are some of the things a little football player will have to complete his or her soccer uniform:

Jersey

Youth soccer jerseys come in numerous colours and patterns, usually with one dominant color and an accent stripe on the sides and sleeves. Colours can be specialised, or selected from a list offered by a soccer supply company. The sleeves are short, the neck either rounded or v-neck, and the fabric is made from polyester, cotton blends, or nylon. It's important for jerseys to be lightweight, durable, breathable, and be ready to hold their color without fading.

Shorts

Side meshing allows for airflow and a drawstring at the waist band permits for an ideal fit. Soccer shorts are usually made from polyester, are either knit or woven, and have an inseam of 3-4 inches for youth sizes. It's critical for soccer shorts to fit nicely, never rubbing the skin raw or limiting motion.

Comfortable and well-fitted cleats are an essential part of a soccer uniform. When buying a child cleats, ensure that they fit comfortably even with their socks and shin guards in place and take weather and playing conditions into consideration.

Good socks keep a player's feet dry, warm, and protected from blisters. This can end up in blisters. Quality socks make soccer cleats more comfy and cushion feet from the ravages of consistent running.

Where can I order custom uniforms for a school/league (American) football team?

I'm thinking, like, 20 youth-size Large jerseys. I've been ordering from FootballAmerica.com, but recently they went out of stock of the uniforms I usually order (Nike Youth Full-length), and for the life of me I can't find any other site that lets you customize names and numbers! They don't know whether or not they will be getting re-stocked till a month from now, and I'm worried that that might not enough time before our game (January 12th). Any help, guys? Thanks so much!
