What is the most appealing floor tile in terms of home value and appeal?
I'm redoing the floor tile in my kitchen and money is not a factor. I just want something that is high-end, money recouping, and that will be overall appealing appealing to most buyers when I sell my home. What is considered the best? Also, I found porcelain tiles that I like in a showroom, what is the reputation of porcelain?
Slate if you like a darker color palette, travertine for lighter color scheme. Natural stone will have a better resale value - porcelain or ceramic tiles can look like real stone but they are cheaper. There is nothing 'wrong' with porcelain, but it isn't as desirable as natural stones like marble, travertine, granite, slate, or even limestone, etc...
