Other popular types of materials include leather which is used in the manufacture of promotional folders, promotional bags and some the more upmarket types of clothing. Leather substitutes such as PVC, leatherette and E.leather are evn more popular. Manufacturers of these products have worked very hard in trying to make them as close to the real thing as possible.

As with most forms of advertising there are numerous ways to measure the return on your investment. If for example you were advertising on TV you could check the RAJAR figures which tell you how many people were watching TV whilst your advertisement was showing. However posters placed at the side of the road can be measured in terms of how many people pass them by. If it is positioned at a sports ground, how many people attend the events or watch them on TV.

With Promotional Gifts it is almost impossible to estimate how many people view the advertising in relation to what you paid for it. The reason is that many promotional gifts such as ceramic mugs or mousemats remain on view for years and not just a week or two. So when you compare the different sorts of advertising available whilst promotional products may not be massively visible immediately they do remain with consumers much longer. The fact that are also useful or fun adds greatly to the overall client experience and increases the recall and fondness for the brand.

What temp should kids be kept inside?

OK, this is our first winter here in Ohio, we are from California, my kids have never been in the snow, I think the coldest it got where we lived was low 30's and that was at night, we were never really exposed to the cold temps. My daughter is 6 years old and her school sent out a letter to parents saying as long as the temp is above 20 degrees the kids will be sent out to play. I am a little concerned about this. I know we have to get used to it, but it takes time for our bodies to adjust and she even says on cold days how unhappy she was at recess and how much it hurt. I send her with a zip up fleece sweater, a snow jacket, beanie, and gloves, is there something more I can do? Should I just be OK with this?

our school district the rule is 25 degrees (with windchill). Yes, kids can definitely handle it if they have the right clothes. I find I have to drag my kids indoors at that temperature, honestly. Make sure the coat and gloves are waterproof. If she's still miserable, add a scarf and an extra pair of socks, or even gloves under mittens. She'll probably need snowpants, too.

oh, and make sure she knows she'll be warmer if she's moving around than if she's standing still and shivering!
