Kremlin Pill Promises Eternal Youth By Zapping Your Guts

During the Soviet times scintists were working on ‘getting old and having your teeth on the counter' problem. There was a rumor that guys from Kremlin (top party leaders that is) directly ordered to fix this issue. Nobody knows if it's true, but still.

So, scientists got together and invented a so-called ‘Kremlin pill' that was supposed to keep you 'fresh as the morning orange juice'. Eat this Edward Cullen! – comparty leaders might have thought, but it turned out that the only thing that the Kremlin pill did was… well, make your intestines relieve themselves better. Yup, you heard me. It went like this:

The pill itself looked like a fish oil capsule, only filled with electronics. Somebody takes the pill; it reaches their guts and zaps them with a small electric impulse. So, intestines start contracting, making you want to do the number 2. It was reported that one researcher who took the pill to test it was zapped so hard the he ‘flew over to the fridge'. Sweet! Why it was presented as a ‘youth pill' is still a mystery. I guess ‘youth pill' sounds more presentable than ‘gut zapper'.

The monkey controversy

What won't people do to stay young? There were also experiments conducted using monkey sex glands. They would take the monkey, remove its sex glands and put them in the fat tissue on the back of a human volunteer. It was similar to a hormone injection, but then the glands sort of reach their expiration date, and everything's back to the way it was. What a waste of time and monkey!

In the 21st century scientist are researching human genome for the same old reason – wanting to be young forever. So, we'll see what happens. Meanwhile, we'll be watching vampire movies thinking – what if?
