Watch Classic TV Shows Online

People keep asking what it takes to enjoy classic TV shows. But if this question is simplified, then it amounts to "What is the best way to access and watch TV shows from the good old times"?

But the answer is simple. This is the era of the World Wide Web. The boom of the internet has made it easy and simple to enjoy lots of things - even old age TV shows. So all you need is a broadband internet connection with moderately fast speed.

If you have this simple arrangement, you should have absolutely no problem watching and enjoying television shows from the days of classic television - because much of it is online now. But what exactly is considered classic TV? Today, there are television shows available online from every decade from the 1940s to today.

If you browse through the online services offering you classic time TV shows, you will see that the majority of them are offering you popular shows from the 50's or to the early 80's (or sometimes the 90"s).

Though the 90"s shows may not be considered as classic as those from earlier decades, most people like calling them classics. But did you look at the brighter side of it? People tend to consider things classic that were popular when they were teenagers so someone born in the 1970s could already be considering TV shows from the 1990s to be classics.

In loose terms, they refer to the shows of the past. But putting it in the original themes, the word "classic" means something that belongs to a certain "class." In keeping with that, classic shows are divided into a variety of classes.

Do you remember Jungle Jim, or Dennis the Menace? Both of them were in Black & White. But these classics had their own categories. While Jungle Jim was adventure type jungle suspense show, Dennis the Menace was pure comedy.

If you come a little closer to our time, you see "I dream of Jeannie". This one was a romantic comedy but in color schemes. Same goes for "Bewitched". Both these shows were pioneering the comedy of their times.

Advancing a bit ahead in time, there are "serial" shows like "Dallas" or "Dynasty". These are the series that fall into another popular category - pure drama. On the other hand, if you look at the popular series that rocked the TV screens in the 80s and 90s, you see a large hype for action thrillers or pure thrillers.

Good examples of those are - The Incredible Hulk, Bionic Woman, Automan or Murder She Wrote. As time passed by, audience developed a changed taste, which brought forward all time popular shows like- Miami Vice, Spencer for Hire and The Equalizer.

A little later came pure cheap entertainers like "Raven," "Hercules - the Legendary Journeys". But even in the 90s, Hollywood never really lacked the supply of comedies - I hope you remember "The Perfect Stranger".

Just as said before, today, many of these shows can be watched online. You can either go to your favorite video site to search for the show of your choice or find it via a search engine by searching for the name on the show plus the word "online".

Orochi Wariors or Dynasty Wariors 5?

I like the dynasty series a lot but iwas loking and Orochi Warriors looked realy fun what game would be better for me please tell me your opinion and the ups and downs of both games Thanks I checked and i think it has all the characters from dw5 and more please tell me witch game is the best overal and how the game play and controls and other items differ ( Such as the Dw element orbs and harnesses and items) More than one answer please

I played through both a while back and it's really kind of a toss-up. Orochi has a ton of characters from both DW and Samurai Warriors, but instead of playing through a character's story line you play through the family storyline (Wu, Wei, Shu and SW). The weapon upgrading system is pretty cool since you don't need to rely so much on luck to get a weapon with good stats but can gradually build it up. DW 5 I don't remember in detail, it took less time to unlock everything and was a little more difficult at 1st. It was much more difficult to get a really uber weapon (and the variety of weapons was less interesting), but easier to get a good horse. Overall storywise I think DW was a little more interesting and graphically it was better.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce (PS3) $12.99 Dynasty Warriors is one of those action games where, no matter how hard you try, there's always something that makes you want to go back and play again. The feudal Asian setting of the series, coupled with the awesome feeling of leading a pack of (rather rubbish) foot soldiers towards an enemy castle has helped make these games more addictive with each instalment. Strikeforce mixes the series up a bit, in that you lose the lemmings and instead lead a crack squad of four warriors along various quests in a dangerous time for Imperial China. You'll need to command your team mates effectively as you plan co-ordinated assaults on heavily-armed fortresses. As well as infiltrating strongholds, you'll be conquering various locations and even tackling monstrous beasts. You'll need to think fast on your feet – and off of them – to overcome your enemies, as they will be using all of the space available to take you down. In response, you have the ability to engage in aerial combat, so you can pull off combos in the air as well as the ground. “Fury” transformations also give you supernatural powers like super-speed and the ability to fly, and using customised weapons in tandem will give you the tactical edge in any given fight. As well as having AI players to complete the quest with you, there's the option to take the quest online with up to three other players, so you can co-operatively tackle each mission together. Situated on the battlefield are numerous strongholds and traps called Chain Explosion Systems. If you manage to take one of these, you'll be able to set loose a series of devastating explosions which can really tip the field in your favour. A few changes have been made to the combat, too. Perhaps the most notable is the introduction of Partner Strikes, which allow you to summon a buddy to the action when you're suffering on the battlefield. There's also a new 'Emergency Dash' move for when you need to take some serious evasive action. Finally, you'll find the new Recovery System, which allows you to salvage armour while you're hurting out on the field. The visuals have been changed, too. Dynasty Warriors: Gundam now sports a cel-shaded look which brings the series closer into line with the Gundam anime. Also, did we mention that there are laser swords?
