This coming February 7, 2010, 6:30 p.m. EST (23:30 UTC) at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, the highly anticipated Super Bowl XLIV will kickoff pitting the AFC champion Indianapolis Colts versus the NFC champion New Orleans Saints to decide the NFL champion for the 2009 season. The game marks the Saints' first Super Bowl appearance since their institution in 1967, while it is the 4th time a Colts franchise team has appeared, since their institution in 1953 as the Baltimore Colts. The Saints finished the season with an NFC best 13-3 record. After joining the NFL in 1967, it took New Orleans 21 years to record their first winning season and another 13 years after that to win their first playoff game. The Saints’ offense led the NFL in scoring, averaging just under 32 points per game. Drew Brees finished the season as the NFL's top rated quarterback finishing an NFL-record 70.6% of his passes for 4,338 yards and 34 touchdowns, with just 11 interceptions.

On the other hand, the Colts blitzed to an NFL best 14-2 record on their way to attaining their second Super Bowl appearance in the last four years. Once again, the Colts possessed a dominant offense led by 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Peyton Manning, who threw for 4,500 yards and 33 touchdowns during the season, with only 16 interceptions.

How many super bowls would Drew Brees have won if he were a Colt?

Probably 5 by now. Peyton "horseface" Manning cant stand to play in big games, just ask his defense, they bail him out everytime. Brees relies on instinct, Peyton is just trash like his father was.

Manning only won the year he was playing Chicago (yea my team) who had absolutely no offense besides their defense and special teams...In fact I'm pretty sure CHI would have one if they snapped the ball to Devin Hester every play instead of HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED.
