What is a poor boy to do?

I have been a Cowboy fan my whole life. I can remember being about 6 and watching the Boys beat the Broncos in the Super Bowl and just falling in love with Dallas. I was completely enamored with the likes of Staubach, Dorsett, Jones and so on. When Jerry bought the team in the late 80's, it was VERY hard to continue my support fot them after firing Landry. I finally got passed that. However, the past 5 or 6 years it has been increasingly difficult to continue flying the flag for my Boys. I hate the owner. There have been and are too many crybabies and thugs on the team now. So, my question is.... Should I feel bad about switching allegiances now after 30 tears of support?

It is pro sports, so you shouldn't feel the same loyalty you would for your alma mater. If it were your college team, I would say you should try and get the coach or whatever replaced, but since you can't replace the owner, move on to another team.

I was a Browns fan, and I hated Modell, but eventually he left, and took the team with him. Ever since then, I don't follow pro football like I used to. I still follow them, but not as much. It's different with the Cowboys, because it isn't a matter of losing as much as a matter of thuggery and crybabies. I can forgive losing a lot easier.

Root for whomever you choose, I wont judge you.
