My 10 month old refuses to wear a baseball cap/beanie/hat?

He use to wear anything I would put on him but now he takes it off. The warm weather is coming and I would like him to wear a cap to keep some of the sun out ( he does wear sunscreen), however he takes it off. When i oppose he screams and cries. Should I let him not wear it? should I continue to object or is it a phase that he will get over?

All kids fight with hats around this age. If he takes it off, just make sure he's covered in another way. Like in his stroller, make sure he's lying back in the shade. Or if you're just outside playing, try and play with him in a shady area. Don't give up trying on the hat though. He might come around soon.
