Bath Robe

My son loves my bath robe, he won't sleep without holding it?

So yeah, I have this micro fleece bath robe that I got for Christmas, and my son is attached to it. SO much that he won't go to sleep without it now. I want to cut it into a blanket but I don't know how to tidy the edges and I don't have a sewing machine...is there some way that I can make the edges tidy so he can't pull strings off it?

We've tried buying him a blanket the same, he has 3 of them(different colors, but one matches) and he knows the difference. He will throw the blanket out of the crib and stand up waiting for the robe. lol

That is SO cute!! I second the blanket tying idea. Is there enough fabric to make it double sided? If not, you might have to purchase something for the other side. If you don't, it'll have a side where it's the "wrong" side of the fabric. This would be the easiest option - no sewing required, just a pair of scissors and your hands! My mom has made tons of these blankets...they sell kits to make them, but you can certainly do one yourself. Angela loves hers. Good luck!!
