How do I prep white box van to paint logo on side? any suggestions?

I own a box van that is white in color, good condition. I want to paint a logo on the side. Any prep and paint suggestions would be awsome. Will I have to re paint the whole box, or can I paint the area were the logo will be only? can I paint over the existing box as is? please help. I do have experience w/ airbrushing.

To paint a logo on the side of your van you must first sand the area to be painted with #400 grit wet/dry paper. I would wet sand the area with plenty of water. Remember to sand only the area to be painted. There is no need to remove all the paint in the area you are sanding. Just lightly but throughly sand the area. After the water dries, you need to chemicaly clean the area useing a product called KrilKlean or something similar. Your local Automotive paint supply store can help you with this. Next you should carefully mask and tape off the area to be painted with the van parked either in a paint booth or other enclosed area. If you intend to paint outdoors remember that you WILL get trash in the final finish. Dont get in a hurry and use high quality products for best results
