Does anyone know how to clean up rainbow reins that melted all over the leather part of the reins and bridle??

My english bridle had rainbow reins on it and was hanging in the tack room the rubber on the reins has melted all over the bridle and everything is sticky, but will not rub off.

You have a couple of options. I use a product called "Super Goof-Off". Availible at Home Depot, Lowe's, Sprawl-Mart, etc. You could try a test with good ol' WD-40. Your reins and headstall are oiled, right?
I'm a leather worker and both have worked for me.
